My Own UX Writer Training

In 2022, I definitely took the decision by making my own way learning about UX Writing. Yes mom, I know I’m a professional in copywriting. But UX writing is just another thing and in the last time I started to feel the wish to work and get a job in the IT industry which is the one and only industry in the next few years.

And yeah, I also know there are a lot of certifications, bootcamps and training but they are so expensive! It’s a shame for people in my country (LATAM) who have to sort through a lot of difficulties to live and even try to invest in certifications every year.

I love to learn. Especially when it’s about communication, Internet, creativity and digital things. But courses and bootcamps in UX are really expensive!

So, I think the solution is to create my own experience without any certifications.

Let’s talk about inclusion:

This is something I saw while I was logging onto the official website from an important market in my country. There is a kind deal separating “Capital Federal” from “Interior”. And that was the problem. It’s really despecting talk about the “interior” (It’s the way that Argentinian people used to talk about most states in the country except the federal capital, which is Buenos Aires, of course). Since a while ago there have been a lot of journalists who talk about “the states”. They don’t mention “the interior”.

But, in this example the UX writers and researchers have more work. In that box they need to create a line for any state (there are 24 in total).

UX Writing also is about these details!
