Messi, The Last Dance
Yesterday (11/7/2022) , Argentina won the American cup and that was the best news of the year.
Messi has a lot of fans around the world. Also, people who don’t like football. The Argentina national team finally got an award after a lot of years of play and suffering.
28 years without being champion. However, Messi has been an idol for the last 20 years and is something really amazing.
I was thinking a lot for those days, so I have a new idea for Netflix and their next seasons:
Next year will probably be the last dance of Messi. I mean, the last dance playing for Argentina national football team. Qatar 2022 is waiting for the best players of the world, and Messi has realized that.
I enjoyed “Michael Jordan — The Last Dance” despite not liking basketball. I love football. Also I love crossfit, but football is the most popular sport in the world and any kind of content about this it’s a sure success!
“Messi, 20 years being an idol”
So, I share with you my idea for @Netflix. It’s probably a great hit!
I am the same age as Messi and I considered our generation enjoyed and suffered a lot because the Argentina NAtional team never could win a championship overall in the last 28 years. The next world cup will be the last dance of maybe, the best football player of this period of age. But I have to consider other things. This national team was developed by an important team. Over and over again it seems impossible (or very difficult) that the greatest sportist can make a hit on their own. In this American cup Argentina has something special that they couldn’t in other competitions. It seems something trivial, but it’s the pure truth: a real team working.
Messi will play his fifth world cup at 35 years old! And also he will be the fifth player in history to participate in five world cups tournaments:
- Antonio Carbajal — México (1950–1954–1958- 1962- 1966)
- Lothar Matthaus — Germany (1982–1986–1990–1994–1998)
- Rafael Marquez — Mexico (2002–2006–2010–2014–2018)
- Gianluigi Buffon — Italy (1998–2002–2006–2010–2014)
But there is another player who can get this record: Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi and Ronaldo played in 2006; 2010; 2014 and 2018.

Definitely, a great record. My generation, the generation of my father, and also the generation of my grandfather are waiting for this moment: Qatar World Cup 2022. Therefore, the world is waiting for us!
