7 Bookmarks For Content Creators

I have been reading and consuming all kinds of content in the last month (when I talk about the last month I refer to the last decade!) trying to find something special to share with you. I started to write a lot of texts which I saved in my Google Drive, mixing a series of ideas but I couldn’t finish one. One of my weaknesses is I’m a multitasking person (in the bad sense of the concept) who is jumping to different web’s all the time, going back to the work, going out to the street, listening to music, listening to the radio, sharing instagram content, texting, etc. There is something which is a common resource for all content writers: share the things that inspire you. I said to myself: “At this point, I’m gonna work with my next article”.

Bookmarks have been so important to me since the beginning of the Internet. In some way, the Internet was my auto education on digital things. My Bookmarks are completely different from the bookmarks of other Content Creators, and they are definitely different from my brother bookmarks. If I could see only the bookmarks of any person without seeing his/ her face I would know a lot about that person. That is why bookmarks are so relevant for me.

So, let’s start! I’ll share seven bookmarks with you. Instead I had a lot of bookmarks which I used to read week by week.

1- The Newspapers.

Anyone you like it. You need to read at least three notices from your country or the zone where you are working or living. Newspapers have important information even though information is on every screen we would visit. I used to start the day munching three or newspapers:

  • Infobae: Infobae has a sub brand which is called Infobae America. They had news about the latinoamerican reality. They used to write interesting chronicles with beautiful titles.
  • La Nación: The most important newspaper in Argentina. I can’t avoid reading La Nación everyday while I’m trying to read more content in english.
  • El País: News about all the world, with a place in Spain. I considered El País (The Country) the godfather of newspapers. Searching on this web I used to find old news about actually topics.
  • Le Monde Diplomatique: News about the world too, but I loved the Le Monde writing style. Once in my life I was studying French (My idea is to continue studying coming soon in my life) so I made the habit to read this online newspaper at least once a week.
  • The Bubble: This blog talks about Argentinian news but in english. The content is really original and creative!

2- Medium

The most popular social network about blogging. I received the newsletter all the day’s but I can’t always read one by day. One of the reasons is I don’t have time. The other reason is I don’t pay for the membership, so I read as a free user and the limit is two articles by week. That is enough for me, but sometimes I would like to read something else.

3- BuzzFeed

I learned on BuzzFeed so much as Wikipedia. BuzzFeed has a lot of quizzes and digital games you can include for your brands. They used to make surveys and quizzes about series and movies.

For example, in the 90′s I was a big fan of “Friends”. I know a lot about the series but on the other side I don’t know a lot about the other series of that time. Those times when millennials used to watch series on TV and we have to wait at certain times. Anime, let’s add BuzzFeed to your Bookmarks.

4- iEmoji

Every phrase sounds good when it has an emoji. This web is useful when you have to write emails or newsletters. The steps are:

  • You choose the emoji.
  • iEmoji shows that character in HTML code so you can copy to paste in your text.

5- Frinkiac

If your job as content creator has the responsibilities of making memes you should save this web: Frinkiac.

Frinkiac is a golden web! They have all the scenes frame by frame from season 1 to season 17 of the most important play of the 20th century!

6- Download Twitter Video

This title no need presentation: DTV is so useful when people in social need create content using a twitter source. You can download the videos and copy the twitter link. MP4 is the most popular format.

Also, I used to download videos on YouTube. In this case, there is a little trick to get that. You need to add “ss” inside the video link.

7- 40deFiebre (40degreeFever)

Sorry for the spanish. This web is so important to me as the same Google Support. I visit this website all the time because I don’t remember the dimensiones which I need to create content on any social media. 40DeFiebre is an Spanish portal which has a lot of content in spanish, but here I leave you the most important post from them: Sizes for Social Media Networks.

Remember: afterall, numbers are the same in english, spanish or german!

Bonus: FourFourTwo

I love football, and that is another web which I used to read. I never type FourFourTwo to get information about a match because they had a lot of articles about the starrings.

442

Who can avoid a chronicle about Guardiola?

Happy Easter Creators!
